RISE and bounce back better
Local entrepreneurs, homegrown retailers to emerge stronger with Villar Group
The Villar Group of Companies is helping local entrepreneurs and homegrown retailers bounce back better and stronger from this debilitating pandemic.
Besides providing valuable insights on emerging trends in the Philippine retail industry, the Villar Group will also open its doors to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) for possible business and employment opportunities as well as potential partnerships in the upcoming third leg of the Villar Convention titled, “RISE: Retail Innovation Shopping Expo.”
Such an initiative is well-timed as experts expect revenge shopping and dining to spur consumer retail spending over the next 12 months, owing to rising consumer confidence, easing of restrictions and improving inoculation program. The insights and opportunities from this upcoming expo will no doubt enable many MSMEs to better strategize, tap new prospects and prepare for an eventual rebound in the postpandemic era.
Slated on Dec. 3, ViCon RISE will kick off with a summit featuring industry experts, who will share their insights about emerging retail trends and changing consumer behavior. Deepak Nautiyal, APAC retail and consumer head of think tank Globaldata, and David Leechiu, chief executive officer of Leechiu Property consultants, will headline the summit and plenary discussions that will focus on the future of retail and malls in the Philippines.
Registered attendees to this virtual summit will also be treated a showcase of innovation, shopping treats and exciting prizes.
ViCon RISE is bringing back its interactive virtual space and convention center, where it will hold the AllValue Shopping Party, a thrilling whole day affair that will feature up to P1million worth of exclusive promotions and discounts during the expo.
Fabulous prizes from AllHome, AllDay and the other AllValue brands await as well—an AllHome home makeover, AllDay’s unique grocery hakot, and a special AllToys Toy Raid will be up for grabs for attendees.
The virtual halls of ViCon RISE will likewise be filled with interactive booths from the different brands of AllValue, the Villar Group’s holding company for investments in retail, and its mall affiliate Vista Mall, where attendees can interact and most importantly, shop. These brands include the country’s pioneering one-stop full line home center AllHome, mid-premium segment leader AllDay Supermarket, the country’s fastest growing café chain Coffee Project, and a host of its other food, retail and services brands.
AllValue brands will each have their day-long activities featuring their respective innovative experiences, both in-store and online.
Get a chance to hear from your favorite celebrities, thought leaders and influencers as well—such as Mariel Padilla, online sensation chefs Marky, Shiela and Anton, who will hold cooking demos at the AllDay exhibit booth, and Issa Reyes of Neat Obsessions, who will talk about her popular home organizing methods.
A most important feature of ViCon’s retail edition is the inclusion of a Business Matching Hall, which provides an online platform for networking among ViCon RISE’s attendees, MSMEs, and the AllValue and Vista Mall business teams, who will be onboard to e-meet industry players to explore partnerships.
ViCon RISE will no doubt live up to the success of the two earlier legs of the Villar Group’s convention series as it will once again provide that much needed shot in the arm–this time, for local entrepreneurs and MSMEs to rise from the devastating impact of this crisis.
